How to Set Up a Solitaire?

• The Foundation: Left an empty 4-card space on the left top corner

The second pile has 2 cards, one face up and the other face down. Similarly, all the other piles are created by adding cards to them according to their pile number. All the cards of 2 to 7 piles are hidden except for the last cards 

• Extra Pile: The remaining 24 cards are placed in the right top corner face down

How to Play Solitaire?

The main objective of Solitaire is to set up the cards in the sequence from lowest to highest. The lowest deck card in Solitaire is Ace and the highest is King. Here is how you can do that.

 

• Start the game with the largest pile in the tableau

• Add the Ace cards to the Foundation whenever you see them

• Start arranging the cards by placing them under the higher cards in alternative colors. You can not place 9 under 10 with the same color

• Empty the cell in Tableau by moving cards and add a King card there. This is because sequences are made from Higher to Lower order. Also, you can not place any lower order card in an empty cell

• Use the extra card pile when you no longer move the card from the piles

• After adding Aces to the Foundation, you can move the higher order card in the Foundation to make the game easy. Remember you can only place cards in sequence in Foundations. For Example, after placing the Ace you can place 2 then 3, and so on

• Do not randomly move the cards as they can mess up the situation and you have to play from the start. Remember there is no undo option in the real solitaire

• Once you make the sequences from King to 2 the game ends and a player wins. You can orderly move all the cards to the Foundation or leave the cards as it is on the table.
